Access Log Manager
Find out about the Access Log Manager and the details that will be inside.
An access log is a detailed list of all the files which were accessed by the visitors of a given website. Every file which was requested for whatever reason will be listed, so if you have just one page with 3 embedded pics, one video and one embedded text file, for instance, the access log shall contain a total of 6 entries - one for every of the 6 files that were accessed when the site visitor opened the webpage. A log typically offers the file name and path, the date, along with the visitor’s OS, worldwide web browser and IP address. Oftentimes you could also find the referrer sites that sent the visitors to your website. The information an access log file includes is in human-readable plain text format. It could be processed by special software on a personal computer and used to prepare reports on the efficiency of a site, independent of the web statistics which your server may have generated.

Access Log Manager in Shared Web Hosting
Our in-house built Hepsia CP includes a section focused on various logs and the access logs are one of them. As soon as you sign in to your
shared web hosting account and go to this section, you will find a list of all the
domain names and subdomains that you have. All it takes to enable the generation of access logs is to press a button that will be available next to every single domain/subdomain. When the option is enabled, you will see a download link and also the file size so far, so you shall be able to save the file to your PC and look at it or process it with some program. Enabling or disabling the logs becomes effective right away, so if you no longer require one, you may stop it with only a mouse click from the same section of the CP. You shall still have the ability to access the already created content by simply clicking on the Download link.
